The top welds on my 15 yr old security door either failed or someone tried to rip it off the frame. I'm interested in getting information about weld failure in security doors - does it happen often - spontaneously - without provocation. Obviously I've replaced the door but I need to decide if I need further protection (if someone tried to rip it off] or whether I can relax because it was a natural failure. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
