Hi everyone,

I recently bought a new security camera to look into my driveway but I realized that if I focused a red laser onto it, the image would be completely blocked and rendered ineffective.  Is there a way to modify a camera so that it can't be blinded?

Thanks in advance.

Perhaps some sort of polarized lens in front of it might help prevent this. I am not really sure.   I believe polarized lenses allow light in only at certain angles.

Food for thought...

I've read that by turning off a certain colour spectrum in the camera, you can still get an image.  I just think that if the laser is focused on my camera for an extended period of time, it will get fried.  I don't think a polarized lens can stop that?

I'm not really sure, perhaps someone else will know more than me Sad

Home security is the main thing in this world. We have several advanced home security products. Security cameras are used as good for home security. Me too want to know how to modify the camera. Hope we will get it soon.

Right unismartin ,

Home security is really very necessary. We should always focus on our home security. One thing I would like to tell you that if you have installed security gadgets like security cameras in your house, it really becomes easy to sell your house urgently in case you need Quick house sale.
