Your home is your castle, your family, your greatest assets, and to keep everything safe. But if your home security system prices recently, you may feel your bank account shrink.

I will not tell you not to buy an alarm system, but if you are not at a point you can invest thousands of dollars, you just want to do something to make your home more secure, this for you.

I want to give you a prompt list, you can use it so you do not spend any money home more secure. The most important thing to remember is that thieves are lazy. (Hey, is not it?), They want with the least possible risk and highest reward efforts. More challenging you can make your house appear more likely to be down by thieves on others (or – let us hope – the complete disappearance). So how do you make your home a security alert is not harsh, video surveillance cameras and a yard full of pit bulls it?

Here is your secret:

    * Trim shrubs back from the gate and walk (This will ensure that no hidden like a thief in the dark corners).
    * Keep your storage shed locked, do not leave the tool (thieves can use the ladder, shovels, etc., to get your home).
    * Maintain the appearance of lawn and keep the house (a look of oppression may suggest that you leave out a lot or you just do not care enough to worry about your home).
    * Plant thorny bushes below the window (you do not want to struggle to climb through the thorns on the open window, now would you? Will also be a thief).
    * If an outdoor lamp burns out, the immediate change it.
    * Do not display your valuables visible (on the wall, visible from the street that is a huge plasma TV), because this is the temptation to thieves.
    * When you purchase a new (for example, that the plasma TV), do not leave valuable roadside boxes announced the acquisition – to break the box down, they are hidden in your garbage / recycling bins.
    * Do not leave the “emergency” under the doormat, and stone house key (a thief is a wise, all the tricks – if you always lose your keys, consider the fingerprint activated lock).
    * Keep tree branches trimmed back from windows and roofs.
    * Make sure your garage door rugged (no loose or damaged corner board), especially if the garage connected to the house.
    * Check your garage door opener, if you do not change its default setting. There are usually 10-12 line switch. If all but one point in the same direction, combined easily interrupt (with a thief in the 10 or 112 to get it the chance).
    * Always lock your door when you leave the house.

Hope these tips will help you make your home less of the target. Remember, home security is employing common sense, because it is an expensive pile of small tools and gadgets. You only need to convince a thief there are other places more easily flag.
