Motion Detectors - Great for home security.

Personally I feel that strategically placed motion detectors, such as in a drive way or in certain areas around the house can be invaluable.  These are cheap and easy to setup.  While they may not help you when you are not at home, they will help keep you alert when you are.  Even a few seconds warning can give you the advantage, alert the household pet, allow you to call 911, get your weapon, etc.

When I am talking about motion detectors, I am talking about ones that alert you inside of your home and those that turn lights on etc.

How does everyone else feel about motion detectors?

Motion detectors are good. But IMO it's partially safe for the Home security.  Every one should need full Home security whether they are in or out of home........

Yes Mr. Home Security, having motion detector on home  gives you relax

at least when you are sleeping or taking a deep rest or at nights while you are at home .

When you are having motion detector installed at your home you get secured at least when you are at home.

This security product is also good for your basements and spaces which do do not get attention often .

Hey, I agree with that. Having motion sensors is a good home security set up. It doesn intrude our privacy. I think they have some 2-way communication too. It is cheap and the equipment is free.
